Balboa Terrace

This small upscale subdivision of tree-lined streets with homes that look like they belong in a fairytale just may cast a spell on you. Most of Balboa Terrace’s carefully maintained bungalows, cottages and Spanish Colonial Revivals were built in the 1920s. You’ll also find one of the city’s top-scoring elementary schools, Commodore Sloat, in the neighborhood. Nearby shopping and dining can be found at Ocean Avenue, West Portal and Stonestown Galleria.
