North of Panhandle
In recent years, NoPa (short for North of Panhandle) has become one of San Francisco’s hippest neighborhoods. Close to both USF and the UCSF Parnassus campus, the area is home to many students and young professionals. Residents love NoPa’s blend of shops and restaurants, plentiful green space--courtesy of the Panhandle and Golden Gate Park-- and peaceful residential streets lined with colorful Victorians. Catching the MUNI or jumping on the freeway is also easy.
